Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using CyberPathIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Description of service

CyberPathIQ is a career intelligence platform for the cybersecurity industry. The platform provides data-driven career guides, certification analysis, salary intelligence, behavioral career assessment, and employer matching. Content is synthesized from public federal data sources including the Bureau of Labor Statistics, MITRE ATT&CK, O*NET, and the National Vulnerability Database.

Account registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. One person may not maintain more than one account.

Free and premium tiers

CyberPathIQ offers a free tier that includes access to all career guides, certification guides, salary data, and limited scenario exercises. The premium tier provides unlimited scenarios, daily briefings, AI career advisor, employer matching, and downloadable career reports. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard, and your access will continue through the end of the current billing period.

Content accuracy and disclaimers

Career guides, salary data, and certification analysis are synthesized from publicly available data sources and are provided for informational purposes only. CyberPathIQ is not a career counselor, financial advisor, or employment agency. Salary figures represent statistical medians and may not reflect compensation in your specific geography, employer, or role variation.

Behavioral assessment results are based on validated psychometric frameworks (RIASEC/Holland Codes from IPIP markers) but are not clinical diagnoses. They are intended to support career exploration, not to make definitive career decisions on your behalf.

Scenario exercises and AI evaluation

Scenario responses are evaluated using AI (Anthropic Claude) to provide feedback and compute behavioral dimension scores. AI evaluation is probabilistic and may not always perfectly reflect your capabilities. Scores are used for career matching and personal development tracking, not as pass/fail assessments.

Employer matching

If you opt into employer matching, anonymized behavioral profiles derived from your scenario responses may be shared with participating employers. Your name, email, and personal details are never shared without your explicit consent. CyberPathIQ is not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers based on matching results.

Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and data synthesis on CyberPathIQ is owned by CyberPathIQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The underlying federal data (BLS, MITRE ATT&CK, O*NET, NVD) remains in the public domain or under their respective licenses. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from CyberPathIQ content without permission.

Your scenario responses and written content remain yours. By submitting them, you grant CyberPathIQ a non-exclusive license to use them for AI evaluation, behavioral scoring, and anonymized research purposes.

Prohibited use

You may not use CyberPathIQ to submit AI-generated scenario responses, create multiple accounts to manipulate behavioral scores, scrape content or data from the platform, or impersonate another person. Violation of these terms may result in account termination.

Limitation of liability

CyberPathIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for career outcomes, employment decisions, or financial losses based on information provided by the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
